I spoke with Bari Caine this morning, and she asked

that I mention something to all my WAPF contacts.

We need to get more media exposure for this kind of

information. Sally Fallon and Enig have been on

the radio a number of times here in Northern CA, but

Bari says it's been only once in the LA area. Anyone

in Southern CA, please take every opportunity to

encourage local media, whether radio, TV or print, to

mention Sally and/or the WAPF, and this philosophy of

eating. In order for real food to become more widely

available, there has to be consumer demand, and the

only way to build that is if people know about it.

Contact local broadcasters, magazines and newspapers

that are health- or food-oriented and ask them to

interview Sally. Most media outlets have some kind of

health program or feature. A radio program is where I

first heard of NT, and I asked them to have Sally on

again - they must have had a lot of positive feedback,

because they had her and back. The large markets

in S. CA and other states must have similar programs.

It doesn't take much to call or email the host and say

" please interview Sally Fallon, author of Nourishing

Traditions " .

The more exposure and support we can generate for this

info, the better it will be for those of us who want

to be able to buy real milk, meat and produce from

local, grass-based organic, mixed farms.

I might suggest that NPR's The Splendid Table would be a good place to throw

some of those listener comments. It's a Minnesota-produced show, but it's

nationally syndicated, so it would be pretty heavy exposure. If you're not

familiar with the show, go to their website...they even have some of the

programs archived: http://www.splendidtable.org/

If you want to email the suggestion, here's the email address: table@...

I'll be sending a comment soon.

Speaking of spreading the word, I'd just like to make the really

interesting observation that this list's membership has grown by 10%

in the last two weeks (5% in the last few days). Does anybody know

if this is natural fluctuation, or is this part of the building

momentum that I'd swear I've been noticing in the last couple of

months?

That is great Debbie,

If you have any experiences that people don't mind sharing with us, we can catalogue them and share them with others that inquire. Also, I can add your site to our welcome e-mail so that others know to look there as well for Thyroid related illnesses.

All my best

Aletha

agree that it is difficult to find accounts for some of the ailments with LDN but that will change as more and more people try using it. You would not believe the changes just within the 3 years since we started my husband for MS. It seems to grow exponentially.hi group, just wait till jann and i start feeling results. i took my first capsule last night. we both belong to thyroid forums and you've never seen such a bunch of proactive people. check out stopthethyroidmaddness.com a patient owned and run site.the word will get out....big time!debbie
