Guest guest
I've been reading about how it's believed that the Kombucha can be absorbed thru the skin (Harold Tietz)... You might try adding some of the over fermented mixture to your bath water or try it as a hair rinse... I've been brewing extra to use just for this purpose I've even given my dog a rinse in the tea after her bath.. she has allergies which have in the past caused hot spots and skin irritations.. the tea rinse on her fur appears to have not only kept her skin soothed but also completely eliminated any flea problem... ... The tea would also be useful for marinating meat or other uses that vinegar would normally be used in.

Guest guest
Thanks for all your information, Ed. I really appreciate it. I usually have to read over your posts at least twice to soak it all in. I have 2 little ones and if it's not " Cat in the Hat " or " VeggieTales " it takes me a while to click back over into my grown-up brain. :-) I have only found a difference in my nursing son when I consumed the vinegary KT. Otherwise there have been no negative side effects in either him or me from consuming KT. Actually, it seems that both of us feel better when I consume. Thanks for all your help...and to everyone else too. I welcome the information, encouragement, and cautions. Barbara P.
Guest guest
Thanks for the link Bev and the wonderful recipes.. I'm eager to try them also. I'm not sure if I mentioned it on this list or not but I also soaked my finger in Kombucha tea after being stung by a bee.. the stinging subsided almost immediately and there was no swelling.. infact it wasn't even noticeable where I had been stung a short time later.. but I had definitely been stung and the bee was still stuck to the bottom of my sponge. In the past I've really swollen up from bee stings so this was another wonderful discovery for me. > > > > I've been reading about how it's believed that the Kombucha can be > > absorbed thru the skin (Harold Tietz)...
