Hello,

I live in Sweden. Because of that I do not have access to raw dairy products. It

is illegal to sell them in stores in sweden. Even if I would be able to get hold

of raw milk from farmers, they dont have raw cream or raw butter and I wouldnt

be able to carry so much milk home (I dont have a car). So I shop dairy in

stores, which means its all pasturized.

I have been reading the westornAprice site. They talk about that the coronary

heart desease rate went up 1940 or so when hydrated fats were introduced.

However it is also around then, 1930 i think, that all dairy was pasturized.

Nothing is mentioned about that. Instead they go on to say that the fact that

heart desease increased indicate that this was probably due to hydrogenetad

fats. However couldnt it be due to pasturization. I am worried, since I cannot

get hold of raw butter, cream in sweden. And since I dont have the time to

travel to farmers without a car and ask them to give me raw milk.

I am quite convinced that raw fats are healthy for the human body. But the ideas

about that saturated fats are all good seem to be based on ancient diet and

ancient cultures. But these ancient cultures did not pasturase their dairy.

Maybe it is not because of that it is saturated that it is healthy maybe it is

because of that it is raw.

I understand however that hydrogenetad fats are not healthy.

What I wonder is would it be wizer to eat raw eggs only as fat source if one

cannot get hold of raw dairy. Or is there substantial evidence that pasturized

cream and pasturized cultured butter does not lead to coronary heart desease or

other deseases?

I could not see these proofs easily when reading about saturated fats on westorn

price site.

Answers are welcome.
