Guest guest
I used to, so much so that I had to be tested in hospital for Diabetes Insipidus (not to be confused with sugar diabetes). I had to wean myself off that much as it didn't make me feel better, in fact it kinda ruined a lot of things for me. Now I do feel very irritated if I miss a days shaving..... I have to be smooth on my face at all times, or I really get mad. > > > > > > > I am convinced that many of my ailments are caused by chronic dehydration. > High blood pressure, and even 4S. Guest guest
hi there, yes - i am not sure about my dehydration being chronic, but i definitely have a bottle of water close to me all day and night - i am lucky that i like water. relating to another thread, i too need to wear sunglasses often and am generally more sensitive to touch, taste, smell than most people i know. i haven`t noticed that i sneeze a lot from sunlight. i`m sure this is probably nothing to do with 4S - but another oddity about me is that sometimes when i laugh (and i laugh a lot and very heartily) ....when i am really laughing from my belly, suddenly i am overcome with a sadness and i start crying - it`s not just laughing to the point of having tears in my eyes, it is sadness kicking in - the kind of sadness you feel on sunday, or when you are out in nature completly alone..no obvious reason to be sad type of sadness. anyone else have this? i hope 2008 is being good to you all fiona > > Hi Matt > > I am ready your message with a large Cafe Latte in my hand, which I have now > put down! > I drink coffee and tea in large amounts and use to drink canned drinks > (although not so much now), I very rarely drink water or water based drinks > purely because i just don't like them. Guest guest
Here's a little different take on the water issue: http://www.snopes.com/medical/myths/8glasses.asp I'm not sure why filtered water would not be as hydrating as tap. I can't find anything to support that. Everything I found on a google search supports drinking filtered water since tap water has so many impurities. Tap water isn't exactly natural spring water, if you know what I mean. I'll get off this topic now--it's one I can get carried away with since I'm a big believer in water-drinking, no matter what the snopes article says. Guest guest
Hi Matt I am ready your message with a large Café Latte in my hand, which I have now put down! I drink coffee and tea in large amounts and use to drink canned drinks (although not so much now), I very rarely drink water or water based drinks purely because i just don’t like them. I find coffee motivates me as I have ADD tendencies, so I don’t drink much else. I would self diagnose myself with bad dehydration, on a hot day i only need to pick up a shovel work for 2 minutes in the garden and I have a headache from dehydration. Interesting, I will give it a try drinking the clear stuff and see what happens, what about isotonic or re-hydration drinks? Neil -----Original Message----- From: Soundsensitivity [mailto:Soundsensitivity ]On Behalf Of Matt Juszczak Sent: Sunday, January 13, 2008 8:15 AM To: Soundsensitivity Subject: Chronic Dehydration I am convinced that many of my ailments are caused by chronic dehydration. High blood pressure, and even 4S. I drink half my body weight in ounces daily and I have for quite some time, and I feel a lot better. My urine is clear, and I just am a lot less irritated. If I let go of my water drinking for quite some time, I tend to become irritated, things bother me more, etc. Does anyone here drink what they should be drinking in water each day? Ie... 100 oz of water if you weigh 200 pounds, etc. matt
