I react against smells strongly - can´t bear strong ones, they make me feel either nauseous or choked, and I can usually smell things that others can´t (drove my ex crazy over dishes - the smell of newly washed dishes makes me feel sick). I loathe the feeling of anything dry. I´m staying in a flat at the moment and the sheets are quite dry, must not have used conditioner. When I lie on them I feel like I can´t breathe. Strong light just blinds me, and especially I have problems with high contrast - headlights in the dark for example. Taste - this is where we differ, as my sense of taste behaves in a similar way to my other senses - I can´t bear strong tastes, and even black pepper is too hot for me. Even a little black pepper makes something painful for me to eat. But none of them have the same angry reaction as sound. I wonder whether that´s simply because sound is the only one that can be considered someone´s ´fault´ - a sensation that they actively create.
