Guest guest
I think he skin condition is called livedo reticularis (the doctor did not use this term, but I'd heard it before and looked it up again after our appointment.) It's when the blood vessels are highly visible under the skin in a very apparent reticular (resembling a net) pattern. It gets more and more apparent in his skin the more constipated he gets. The longer he goes between bm's, the more apparent the vessels become. I always felt is was associated with toxin build up due to the constipation, just did not realize it might be from mercury. If you use the " images " section of google to search for " livedo reticularis, " you can find images of it - but I did not find any that associate this condition with toxin build up or mercury (that I could find). So, I don't know if what my son's issue is just looks similar to livedo reticularis or if the conventional medical literature/research does not recognize this as being associated with mercury. (I also did not extensively search the topic.) I know at the Trying Low Oxalates board, some have mentioned they see this condition during oxalate dumps. To me that indicates it is associated with toxin build up. > > > > > > > > HI, > > > > > > > > I have not been with the group for some time now but I still read > > > posts and > > > > wanted to share my experiences with regard to bowel movements.
