Hi Carmela,

We are probably 45 minutes away from Hershey. I decided to go

there because instead of the smaller local hospital because they do

have a children's hospital and I figured they were more likely to

know about CMT. I really like the doc Ethan sees - Dr. Nichter he

is a pediatric neurologist.

On the first visit he spent over an hour with us (actually every time we go he

spends at least 45 minutes with us). He never rushes us out the door. He said

that a patient and a doctor need to " dance " together.

He never tells us what to do he gives us the options and we decide. Hershey

also has a MDA clinic (we usually see him there)at our first visit someome from

MDA was there to offer support and information. They also pay the co-pays for

the visits.

Dr. N sent Ethan to an orthotist for AFOs, a pulmonologist because he has some

breathing issues and an orthopedic surgeon (just to touch base with). I hope
