Sharon,

First of all, make sure the cell wall is broken down as you stated. Second, get it from a company with good reputation, or better yet with 3rd party certified free of contamination Chlorella in the nature sucks up metal toxins it comes in contact. I would choose a reputable brand. I personally prefer Bioray.

Just a quick question for those of you using Chlorella. As long as it's broken cell, does it matter which brand I use? I know some have mentioned Dr. Klinghardt has one, but I was going to order Sun Chlorella from vitacost.com. I will be using it partly for detox and partly to help support the liver.

Thanks,

Sharon

I use Source Naturals brand Broken Cell Wall Yaeyama Chlorella. You

can get it in powder (tastes really yucky) or tiny pressed tablets

that are very easy for kids to swallow.

It's the brand recommended by my son's doctor as well as my holistic

dentist. It seemed to bind the mercury very well after my amalgam

removal. My excretion was amazingly high while taking the tablets.

For my own daily use I now mix the powder (which my son refuses) with

Multi-Green Kombucha to super boost what it already contains.

Yes, it's the one he recommended for me. The day before and for a week

+ afterwards. I would have taken it longer before AND after if I'd

known my test results.

I had HUGE excretion of mercury while on this - right after my amalgam

removal. It was 34.77 in the Doctors Data FM test. Which was so high

they had to re-run the test with a multiplying factor of 10 to find

the top end. Interestingly, the UTM on the same day was unremarkable.

Which proved what I thought was happening with my son - he was

excreting more metals than the UTM's were showing. I switched over to

doing more FM's than UTM's last year and saw a lot more activity.

According to my holistic dentist, the liver/bowel is the normal route

of excretion for mercury. If you are seeing high levels in the urine,

then the liver is damaged or not able to keep up with the toxic load.

Makes sense to me, but I hadn't heard that anywhere else.

FWIW, he's a bit peculiar. Previously mercury damaged and exhibits

social behavior consistent with ASD, even though he says he's fully

recovered from the poisoning. I believe his insights on mercury

toxicity are sound though.

If you are taking chlorella or any other mercury binding supplement

before - don't let it touch your teeth if possible. If you are

drinking it, use a straw to it bypasses your amalgams. And generally

it's not great to get on your teeth even once the fillings are out. I

have some green staining from long term chlorella use that needs to

blasted off..... ;-)

I'd rather have green teeth than be sick though!
