Carb content of beet kvass?

I'm interested in trying beet kvass, but I'm concerned that it might be

pretty much just as sugary as fruit juice. Does anyone have any idea how

much sugar and other carbs there are in a serving (4oz., I guess) of beet

kvass?

I have absolutely no idea, but I can promise you that its not as

sugary as other fruit juice, or even close! My beet kvass experience

lasted about 2 days, and then I decided that a clean liver just isn't

that important to me.

Can you tell us why it only lasted 2 days before I go and try to make beet

kvass?

Thanks. I was just curious. I was interested in trying it but wanted to know

more because it seems that beets are always pretty expensive so I didn't

want to waste my money. It doesn't sound like I really want to try that. I

juiced a tiny bit of beet once with some carrots and celery and then threw

the whole the thing up. Makes me wonder why I was even considering it now

that I think about it.

hehe, that's how I felt :)

But cabbage is supposed to have the same cleansing properties, and

sauerkraut is actually tasty!
