Guest guest
Hi , I have some mild proprioception issues around my ankles. Apparently, according to the physio therapists I have seen, when we do the training to isolate muscles and retrain the " nerves to communicate with the muscles " this can be corrected, if your nerves still work. My problems are more or less due to injuries, then training myself to use my muscles in a certain way to avoid the pain associated with the injury. It made sense to me, and the exercises work, although I was amazed how I just could not move my foot a certain way until we " trained it " again. My ankle strength improves with the training.
