Guest guest
Lena, I did actually notice the same thing after I started Vitamin C. I cut my finger and bleed a bit longer then I was used to. That was right after I started the Vitamin C. I am back to normal now I think. I cut my finger again with a razor not to long ago and didn't have any problem. I wonder if bleeding more is a temporary side effect?
Guest guest
I also wanted to say how much better my circulation is now that I am on vitamin C. Maybe I do have thinner blood...
Guest guest
Hi Leena, I didn't know that vit. C could affect bleeding time. But I googled vit. C & bleeding time and this article indeed correlated vit. c with bleeding time. http://www.springerlink.com/content/ju21x7662727n554/ Holly
Guest guest
The same thing is happening to me and it seems like only a little scratch makes me bleed. Also, I have been dealing with a split on the top of my right thumb which I didn't cut, but my skin was dry and it just split open and now it heals to a point and then it breaks open again. It drives me nuts because I'm right handed and you'd be surprised the weird places the top of your thumb goes...lol
