Guest guest
Hi Reema, You said this so beautifully. Made my day! Sometimes I feel it is all to easy to focus on what's going on with us * physically *, be it aches, pains, falls, exercise, etc. In my experience spending time developing my brain through the years has paid off in spades. My one and only New Year's Resolution 2006 was to read more books - and I did exactly that. This year I am attempting to learn a new language, one I have not had any prior experience with so I will develop my brain more. LOL, I told this to a friend who said " you sure have a busy mind " ! Throughout my life with CMT, it has become extremely important to develop my mind, mainly to start with, I had to learn how to do the best job with the least amount of physical work, and other creative management " strategies " . In fact, it has been the very * fact * that having CMT has made me need to develop my mind, to be quicker, smarter, to " stay in the game " (meaning real world life) and to excel. I am so glad you said " CMT has NOT denied us brains " . I know many persons with CMT who are extremely smart, quick, alert, and seek to develop their brains, and their lives, too. ~ Gretchen
