Guest guest
Hi guys: Just wanted to let you know that my 23 year old son is getting an opportunity to try out the new Walk-aid device that you wear at the knee and it sends a charge to stimulate the ankle/foot to lift. My boss is good friends with the head orthotist at Snell Orthotics in Little Rock. Originally they were offering this chance to me, but I don't have any response to the system due to my progression. Luke, my son, is just starting to exhibit signs of foot drop so hopefully this will work for him. He is a graduate student working towards his doctorate in physical therapy, so this would be a real blessing for him if it works. They said they would work something out on payments and the participants of the demonstration get 20% off the cost. So keep your fingers crossed! The demonstration is on Sat., so I'll give you an update on Monday. Hope everyone has a great week-end.
