Before we put in our stair lift, I asked at three different medical supply

stores: two in CA, and one in FL. They all said the Bruno is the best. We

installed the Bruno. It is expensive especially for going around turns. We

paid almost $17,000 with two 90 degree turns and one 180 degree one.

It goes very slowly, but I think some people probably have so little balance

that this is necessary. You have to make sure it is totally on the top or

bottom or the battery goes out.

I use it for transporting suitcases, which is a terrific added bonus. We have

had it 18 months so I can't verify its longevity

except the remotes need new batteries. It works even when the electricity goes

out. My grandmother had one in the 60s, but I don't remember which one.

Now my husband is on Effexor XR and Provigil and off marijuana and doesn't use

it much. He says he needs the exercise. Go figure.
