I am planning on adding a stair lift to my house and would like some

feedback on good and bad of them please. We will need one that fits a

curved staircase. thanks.

i put a stair lift in on a straight stairway and got it used. it cost $1700

which is a lot better. You can go on the internet and put price quotes in to

various companies. I happen to have a good medical supply company here who i use

everything from, so got a slight discount for buying the stairlift from the same

place i got the wheelchair lift in my car. i will do some research for you and

see what types of quotes can get.

The straight is much cheaper even with the Bruno. You need to check the

features that are important to you: how it attaches, does it work in a power

outage, how much weight do you need it to hold, what is the guarantee, etc.,

plus how long do you want it?

We had a curve on the staircase and had to put in a 90 curve at the bottom so he

could get off at the lowest level, and I insisted on the 180 curve [most

expensive] at the top so it would be out of the

way on a landing.
