Hi ,

So good to see your post, that you weren't as nervous as you thought

and it went so well. What this means is, in short, you were approved for your

benefits, and your file cannot be re-opened at any time, so, my friend, sit

back, relax, have a cup of hot chocolate, and breathe OUT all that stress you've

been under from this.

I can't say exactly when you will receive your benefits, but you can

expect a letter in the mail explaining them, how much you will receive

each month, as well as a notice of how much back benefits you will

receive.

Congratulations on winning this tough battle. Now you can focus

totally on your health, stay warm and relax this winter.

Gretchen,

Whew!! Maybe now I can focus more on moving ahead with this condition. I'm

looking forward to OT and water therapy. (And paying my bills). Thanks for all

your advice.

Sue,

I live in MO. I applied in May of 2005. Appealed in Sept. 2005. Got

approved in Dec. 2006 by an Administrative Law Judge. I did not have a hearing.

He approved it without having to go to a hearing. It takes such a long time and

I'm sure every state is different. I know it seemed like forever with me. Do

you have an attorney?

Sue,

I live in Pulaski County, Kentucky. So, we are nearly neighbors. I have two

sisters that live in Ohio. What part do you live in? I applied February 8, 2006.

My Congressman helped me with getting through the process sooner.
