Guest guest
Hello everyone. I want to share my experience I had today at my hearing. I wasn't near as nervous as I thought I would be. It was a teleconference hearing. Gretchen, there was a SSA representative with the Judge. When the Judge had completed asking me all of his questions he asked the lady if I met the definition of disability as defined by SSA. She replied " yes " . He asked her " can Ms. Girdler perform her prior jobs with her restrictions? " She said " no " . He asked about any other jobs or rehabilitation retraining. She said " no " . He replied " this record is now closed. " That was the end of my hearing. I'm afraid to form an opinion. What do you think?
