Chuck,

I'm sure you are aware that the many of us with CMT have different

degrees of symptoms and abilities for exercise. I have done Tai Chi

both standing (my balance has dramatically approved from Aquatics

training) and I have also participated in a " Tai Chi in a Chair "

class, which is offered here for Seniors and others with Balance Disorders.

There are different ways/adaptations that can be made in Tai Chi.

We are all different, even tho we have CMT, because our symptoms are

so diverse. Therefore, participating in exercise for some of us is not

a problem with balance. We do have skiers in our group, as well as those who

surf, walk marathons, etc.
