Guest guest
If you mean Jefferson in Philadelphia, you might try Univ of Pennsylvania. Dr. Scherer at Penn is an expert on CMT and a nice man. He does a lot of research, so you may have trouble getting an appointment.
Guest guest
Hey Teri, I could have just emailed this link to you but thought that I'd post it if anyone else was interested. It's a doc locator for Jeff. http://www.jefferson.edu/jup/find/ You didn't mention what type of Doc you wanted to see - assuming a neurologist. Anyway, Jefferson is an excellent hospital with a ton of specialist for a variety of things. I know people how went there for different things and were very satisfied, but when I did my research I didn't find any that specialized in CMT. Just a side note - Jeff is who treated . I have been researching and found what seemed like good specialists (at least on paper) one in Hershey (doesn't take our insurance though) and we were referred to one at Penn - that's the appt we have in May. The one at Penn was VERY difficult to get an appointment with. When I made the appointment in Jan, May was the first available appt but this is the Doc that our current neurologist recommended as he deals with CMT patients. If you want more specific info about Docs at Penn or Hershey, let me now. Carmella (aka your sis)
