Guest guest
Anne, I understand how you feel. I was on the fence until just recently, when had a fever. We heard multiple wow things from her fevered self that seemed far and above the level she has been operating at. First, she wanted me to get out of the chair and come with her. Normally, she just pulls my hands and asks please come with me. On the fever, she turned to her daddy and said, "I need yoooour help to pull Mommy out of the green chair! First we have to pick up her hands and puuuulllll . . ." (showing daddy how to get my hands). She said this with the same emphasis as from Dora the Explorer and she involved her daddy in the task just like Dora involves her (as a viewer). We were so stunned, we couldn't even go along with her play scenario! Next, when daddy asked if she wanted him to tell our friends S & L anything (he was going to their house), she said, "Please say 'thank you' for bringing Dora to my house." S & L gave a Dora doll back in December. This was completely out of the blue. Finally, she has a new minature carousel that she adores and has been keeping on a little chair next to her bed. She was playing in the hallway at her table and chairs with Grandma and I brought the chair that had been by her bed over to put it with the table (where it belongs). She immediately stopped her play and stared at the chair. Then she started to look worried and she ran into her room and shouted, "Mommy, I lost my carousel!" That she would put all that together (the chair showing up at the table means something happened to the carousel), while already engaged in play just floored me. Now even those these aren't Valtrex wows, the fact that she showed such improvement with a high fever gives me a lot of faith that Valtrex is our next step -- and I've been begging my husband to let me chelate her for about a year now! Anyway, I'm also grateful to have been shown something to help me make up my mind/lead the way. Since the modest gains you are seeing on OTC anti-virals haven't been enough to sway you, I really hope you get "lucky" and get a push in one direction or the other soon. Dawn (Who is unfortunately showing NO gains with 102.3 temp!) > > > > >> > > > > Hi Everyone,> > > > > > > > > > I am curious about how LDN may or may not make the > regressive > > > period > > > > > of Valtrex (or other anti-viral therapy) more manageable.
