Guest guest
I hate to sound so urgent, but my sister is about ready to put her baby on soy formula because of the trouble she's having. The baby is 6 1/2 months old and has been feeding great up until now, but after she's started getting some solid foods, she doesn't want to nurse much anymore. She eats for about 30 minutes in the morning, but it goes downhill from there the rest of the day and she gets fussy and doesn't want to nurse. My sister's main concern with the baby formula in NT (milk based) is that it is so expensive (like $180 a month as opposed to soy for $70 a month). Would it still be a nourishing formula if certain things were left out, like the lactose, or the oils, or cream?? In other words, what can she get by with? I figure that anything she does besides soy formula is good. She has access to fresh raw cow's milk... Any help or insight would be GREATLY appreciated!!
