This time they will be removing one of the screws and replacing it with another. The screw is coming out. (I always knew I had screws loose LOL) Anyways, as far as surgeries on my feet go, this is number 9 and this is the third in 5 months. I also am battling an addiction to pain meds. I was prescribed MS Contin and it really has me in its grips. I am seeking help but scared, because I know pain meds will be something I will always have around me because of all the surgeries. As for the addiction to meds, first talk to your doc about this. With your doctor's help, there is a way to wean yourself off - it is not fun or pretty, but it can be done. I did this after surgery.
