Guest guest
Hi , Oh boy, do I WISH there was an " on-line status " regarding ALJ decisions, but there isn't. You can try to phone your local SSA office and find out if your file has been sent back there. Or you can phone the SSA 800 number and find out where your file is and what the latest is posted on your SSA record. Or, better yet, ask your attorney to get a transcript of your hearing for you AND ask your attorney to find out WHERE your file is - at the Hearings Office or at the SSA office. Since your hearing was just a couple of weeks ago, as I said before, it may be awhile until you receive your " official benefits award notice " and schedule of payments. Sorry this isn't much more help. And from now on, make sure you save every letter, every scrap of paper you receive from SSA, notes of phone calls, etc., in a folder at your home, in a safe place. ~ Gretchen
