Guest guest
Have you considered that you might have Restless Leg Syndrome (R.L.S.) I, too, had the same troubles with my legs jerking at night. It got so bad that I couldn't sleep. My legs jerked all over the place and it wasn't relieved when I got up to walk. I now take Requip and I no longer have the problem with my legs jerking at night. I don't like to take medication, but it has helped relieve the symptoms and as you know, adequate sleep is very important for CMT'ers. I also get the jumping in my thigh muscles, usually in the evenings before I go to bed. I call it " my frogs jumping " as you can literally see the muscle jump through my skin.
