Guest guest
Your Dad is right, I feel like a barometer, and can forcast a change in the weather 48-72 hrs. My husband thought I was crazy until he monitored my pain threshold. I live in Arizona but when the weather will change my hands start to burn. Tell him I said wow I thought it was just me. Guest guest
Hi! I'm writing for my husband, . He swears that he feels better in cold weather. He has always found relief for his pain with cold therapy: cooling gels, icy foot baths, etc., so maybe that's why. We live in FL and his feet and legs get very red and flushed from the heat. His dream is to live in a cooler climate - we might have to do something about that! I'm not sure about elevations, but we did spend some time in VT and upstate NY and he felt great. Guest guest
The heat makes me really weak. The cold puts me in so much pain I can't move. I live in the Mojave desert (Southern CA ) about. I am thinking about moving to Arizona or Southern Utah.
Guest guest
Hi, my name is Stuart. I used to live in Nevada where the Summer heat seemed to leave me significantly weaker and more fatigued. I thought I would do better in a colder climate, so I moved to Maine where I found Winter cold to have the same effect. I'm affected by barometric pressure changes too. So now I'm thinking that the best place to live with CMT would be where there is as little weather as possible, of any kind. Southern California? Guest guest
Hi Stuart, Just here. CA is wonderful, but just to let you know, I've lived in the Florida Keys for 30 years now and except for the " hurricanes " (ha..ha??) , it's about the most boring place for weather. It's a little " too " nice. Even if it rains in Miami, we rarely have rain because there is no land mass for the clouds to form and have storms. We literally love rain because it gives everyone a reason to get under the covers. I couldn't imagine living with any type of even mild temperature changes having CMT. I love Vegas, but hate the dry heat. The humidity works fine for my joints and the breeze keeps the temperature down. It's so much hotter in Orlando than it ever would be down here. The only drawback is the financial one. That's a biggie. But if I can do it, anyone can. If you need more information please let me know. Take care,
Guest guest
It's strange why some of us like the cold and others the heat. I have to keep socks on at all times but then again I don't even know when I have socks on or not unless I look at my feet! When I put the shower jets on to the strongest pressure hitting the top of my foot, I can't feel a thing. I also tend to kick Jeff by accident because I don't know where my feet are. It's nice to get snuggly, but I'd like to know where my " parts " are. lol...
Guest guest
I live in Northern California and it is milder than Southern Ca. Never too hot and never too cold. OK, never is wrong but the amount of cold days and hot days are minimal to the amount of just right days!! Come on to N. Cal...........No Snow here in the San Francisco Bay area. We are pretty close to sea level here. You will get snow at the higher altitudes in Northern Ca. De McDaid Momma to Brett, and Paige
