Umbillical Cord Blood Registry

I am having a baby in 3 weeks and was asked by my OB if I wanted to

save the umbillical cord blood and have it stored. I didn't do this

with my first, but I didn't know that I had CMT at the time.

Apparently, they are offering significant discounts to people with

genetic/neurological diseases. I suppose with all of the stem cell

research going on, it might not be a bad idea, but wondered if any of

you had either done this or what you thought about doing this?
