She is 22 and has been having symptoms of tremors and muscle weakness and numbness for awhile. She finally couldn't deal with the shaky hands and went to the doctor. She was referred to a neurologist and during the visit he diagnosed her with benign essential tremor. He took alot of blood tests and sent home information and paperwork to have a complete HNPP evalution. I'm trying to get ahold of the doctor to ask more about it but no luck yet. I feel that the original blood work and test results should be back before this new test is done. She also has an EEG and an MRI set up. So I am interested in reading about others experiences with CMT since that is what the blood test is screening for.
