Guest guest
Hi everyone I have CMT 2, with some hand involvement. I decided not to let CMT stop me and I started Nursing school last Fall. I have not had any issues until this semester with some of the manual dexterity trying to manipulate the IV tubing. Anyways - I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions about an adaptive device I could use to connect, and unconnect the tubing. I am having some difficulty grasping the small tubing and screwing it into the connector completely. I have been able to do some independently, but some seem to be harder than others. If you have any suggestions- I would greatly appreciate it!! I have made an appointment with an Occupational Therapist, but the appt is a couple of weeks away and clinical is next Tuesday again. Thanks again!!
