Guest guest
Hi.. I love to bike ride.. I feel it strengthens my ankles. I have to say it isnt always easy especially riding against the wind.. but Gretchen is right.. it clears the brain and stretches my legs and good for my heart.. I have a 6 speed bike and it has been a excellent ride for me..I have difficulty with walking but so far I can still ride a bike.. I love it.. Guest guest
That sounds great, Gretchen. The last time I rode a two-wheeler was when I was about 5 years old, and I still remember the freedom. Does anyone here have/ride three, or four, wheeled bikes?
Guest guest
Gretchen, It's so funny you mentioned biking. For some reason I already thought you were an avid biker. I just got one from my sister and her husband for my birthday. Two weeks ago I was in K-Mart test driving bikes! I had a blast and it is very calming. It's a mountain bike, not the $1,000 ones, but a good ol' Huffy. They had it equipped with a basket, lights, a horn, of course a helmet, all the cool stuff. Last night I drove to a restaurant and picked up some escargot for dinner!!....It is so peaceful when you can't here a thing. I like to ride when the sun is going down, not too hot, just right. I'm just doing a little at a time and it helps with the back pain. I find my posture to be better. I'm not up to a 45 minute drive, just a little at a time. No mountains down here, but do have many big rocks and you're right, if you hit them the wrong way...goodbye for now..
Guest guest
Gretchen, it sounds so much fun but the only bike I ride is the station bike at the gym, I know it doesn't go any place for me to fall down. Enjoy spy
