Guest guest
Thanks for the warm welcome! I did talk to the doctor's office and they told me they set up an EMG test for my daughter. We have decided to hold off on the genetic test for awhile (because of the cost). I'm happy to know that she has had some relief from the tremors with Inderal LA. As far as we can tell, neither her father or I have obvious symptoms of CMT. Would she have to get it from one of us or could it come from a previous generation? I'm not sure if any of our older relatives had it either, though I have a sister with alot of symptoms. Thanks for any opinions.
Guest guest
, Relatives and family members can often have 'unoticed' symptoms, or also may have been misdiagnosed with something else. Not everyone has exactly the same CMT symptoms, and CMT has proved to show very diverse symptoms even in the same family. ~ Gretchen
