Thanks for the warm welcome! I did talk to the doctor's office and they told me

they set up an EMG test for my daughter. We have decided to hold off on the

genetic test for awhile (because of the cost). I'm happy to know that she has

had some relief from the tremors with Inderal LA.

As far as we can tell, neither her father or I have obvious symptoms of CMT.

Would she have to get it from one of us or could it come from a previous

generation? I'm not sure if any of our older relatives had it either, though I

have a sister with alot of symptoms. Thanks for any opinions.

Relatives and family members can often have 'unoticed' symptoms, or

also may have been misdiagnosed with something else. Not everyone has

exactly the same CMT symptoms, and CMT has proved to show very diverse

symptoms even in the same family.
