feet surgery for Canadian teen

We live in Edmonton, Alberta and our 15 year old son requires surgery

for advanced CMT foot deformities. Locally there seems to be limited

practical experience with surgery on CMT feet, so we are looking at

other options (we have an appointment with Dr. Pfeffer at the HNF

clinic at Cedars-Sinai in California). Obviously, this option is very

expensive (no out-of-country insurance). Do anyone have a

recommendation on an experienced CMT orthopedic surgeon in Canada? Has

anyone had surgery performed by Dr. Pfeffer at Cedars?
