I have a 14 year old son who was diagnosed a few months ago. It is a struggle. His genetic test just came back type 1A. Anyway he has overall weakness and has never been good at sports he stopped playing when he was younger because he always got teased and the coaches were not much better, of course we didn't know that he had CMT then. Ethan goes to OT twice a week and the therapist has him golfing. He said it is great for hand eye coordination and you don't have to be very strong. He actually puts as part of his therapy.
