This one doesn't seem to be working. Nora compares these two light sources, their positives versus negatives with regards to light acupuncture, but some interesting thoughts on which one is generally ‘better’ for human body http://tinyurl.com/5xn8ed
Guest guest
Good article. So, it seems if you know what you are doing you could use the laser *sparingly.* If you are unsure, you are safer with an LED device as the body would be capable of harnessing that incoherent light and using it to its advantage anyway. Given the support we provide our kids I think I would have some amount of faith in the ability of the human body to know how to repair itself. What do you think? Guest guest
Gayatri, I feel something along the same lines. ...if a problem was acute and I (or a practitioner) knew exactly what to do I would prefer a laser or a combo laser+LED unit. In this situation (lack of practice and money) maybe our kids are better off with LEDs, at least for home use. having said that I've felt for a while now that Lightworks is quite powerful and only needs to be used for short amounts of time. Does anyone else have thoughts on this. In its specifications it says about 200mW total output, which is supposed to be quite hight?? natasa Good article. Guest guest
Natasa, did you look in the files, in the Lightworks and Laser Therpay folder. Rita and Lorina had got some info from Dr. Sheehan. It said to apply light from 60 seconds to 6 minutes several times a day. It doesn't mention the wattage on there however. I wish there was a youtube video one could eyeball just to see a general session. The Lightworks does pack a punch, enough that when I use it on my sore feet they clear up real quick but then my back goes and so I have decided to use it sparingly. Have not used it on my son yet, he needs to be further along I think.
