Guest guest
Firstly, thank you for allowing me to join your group. I do believe our personal time with CMT is now upon our little family. It has been in our extended family a long time. I look forward to hearing about and asking questions and getting answers about this thing called CMT. My husband of 17 years went to the doctor today for a severe headache he's had for a week and while there they did a sensory test. You know hit your knee and rub things on your feet and other extremities. Well her finding was that this is the first time he has been slow to react. He said nothing to her but came home and said something very sad to me about his future. He believes now he will be one more in the family to have CMT. We are 45 and 43 years old and have twins 1 boy and 1 girl that are 3yrs old. He is worried of his quality of life. I did not worry about it ever until today. I worry about his mental quality of life. I read that we are suppose to keep things positive so I don't want to repeat what he said just yet. I need to see what kinds of things can and should be shared in this forum and what should be left at home. Thank you for the opportunity to learn about this. My in-laws/husband have always been very quiet about this for the 20 yrs I have been in this family. I must learn on my own and be better prepared. Thank you, De Momma to Brett 20yrs, and Paige 3yrs
