Guest guest
Hello, Does anyone have a recommendation for a good doctor in the San Francisco bay area who recognizes the importance of proper nutrition? I tried very hard to breastfeed my son after he was born but had to quit because I had practically no milk. The second lactation consultant I hired (the first one was useless!) suggested that perhaps I might be hypothyroid. The thyroid test my doctor ordered indicated no thyroid problems (TSH = 0.77). However, I have all the classical symptoms: cold hands and feet; swollen hands, face, feet in last trimester and after giving birth; constipation; etc. My doctor didn't make any further suggestions. I am guessing thyroid/pituitary/other issues compounded by poor nutrition. After discovering the westonaprice.org website and reading Nourishing Traditions, I figure I need at least a year of proper nutrition to prepare my body for baby #2. Anyways, I am seeking assistance from Competent Professionals and would appreciate any pointers. Thanks! _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
