Guest guest
A warm welcome, Deanna, thanks too for introducing yourself. Yes, we try to keep things upbeat here, but if you need to share please do. So many have written about their CMT and ensuing depression, anger, etc. and what helps them. In my experience, quality of life is what I make it. And that is truly great. Mental and emotional quality of life has taken much work in my life, but I have achieved it, and still work on it everyday. You may want to read our past posts in the Archives on what others have said and help they found. As for what not to share, use good judgement, and I would not suggest posting your phone number or other personal information to the group. I'm sure others will welcome you and you may find good kinship from people who offer their private email, and say you can contact them on a certain issue. While I realize your in-laws are quiet about CMT, with young children to raise, I hope you can open the lines of communication and find out more about the family history too. Symptoms and severity of CMT can vary greatly among members of the same family. Again, welcome to . ~ Gretchen
