Guest guest
Hi Pat, I really don't think this sounds like a good diet for a CMT'er to be on. I would talk to Dr. Shy before starting any diet. I think putting the body in a state of ketosis would not be good for anyone, especially us. I guess if it is Dr. supervised, they know what they are doing. But, do they know CMT? I would like to know what Dr. Shy thinks. I, too, need to lose weight. Alot of weight. I am 5'10, and probably at least 50 lbs. overweight. My problem is is that I just like food too much. I'm sure genetics plays a big part in my situation as most all my family (extended family also) are overweight. It is such a battle and sooo hard to get in the mind set to lose weight. Please let me know if you find a diet that actually works. I've done the low carb thing, but you end up gaining weight back afterwards. Have you seen a nutritionist? Maybe this would be a good idea.
