Update on Internship Accommodations

Hi folks,

Still working on getting accommodations via Cal State East Bay. They have now

told me that they can not resolve the issue because I filed a complaint with the

EEOC. OK, well nevermind with that - I am still working at graduating on time

without having to give

back my grant b/c I requested an accommodation...

My MDA clinic has offered me an internship & I am so excited! It will be a

great learning experience in a supportive environment (they do not mind a time

accommodation). AND, it will allow me to focus less on my own battle and more on

helping others.

I believe that when a situation is not working out it is because a more optimal

one is in the wings. It's just hard to see it & it comes on its' own schedule.
