Guest guest
Teri, hi, Will see if I can find info on " functional ability " - meanwhile read this where it DEFINES the definition of " disability " by the SSA. http://www.socialsecurity.gov/disability/professionals/bluebook/gener al-info.htm Light work, sustained work - well, that's still WORK. And if you read and understand that to be determined " disabled " by SSA that means you must not be able to work AT ALL. http://www.crowe-shanahan.com/capacity2.html http://social-security.lawyers.com/social-security-disability/Social- Security-Disability.html Perhaps your neurologist does not feel he knows you or your " functional capacity " well enough to complete the form. Do you have a regular Internist who has been your doc for a long period and who is aware of your SSDI application? This may be a time when you might want to consider obtaining legal help - get rid of some of your stress. ~ Gretchen
