in Missouri,

I haven't been at the computer for a while, so even though this is a month old I

hope it will help.

I have CMT type 2. If I am correct this effects the axon of the nerve.

They still at this time can not test for this genetically. I was told that a

nerve biopsy would not tell anything either.

So, from my understanding, they can do EMG, symptoms, and family history.

I am responding because I wanted you to know that I have severe pain. I take

narcotics and other meds 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I have been told that

type 2 usually is associated with pain.

I pray that your son isn't in pain, but I wanted to give you my 10 cents worth.
