Sal,

Just a quick note that Dr. Bradstreet mentioned at the recent Autism One conference, if you continually have zero Lactobacillus on your labs, this is a good indication for Clostridia infections, which are known to cause leaky gut syndrome, and it is difficult to be detected via Comprehensive Stool Analysis.

Gayatri, this is quick note for you, too. For sometime we have been wondering why our kiddos continually have zero Lactobacillus, regardless of the high-potent, multiple strains of Lactobacillus which we have been supplemented them with.

Re: Resveratrol, Cat's Claw and Samento

I see doctor who uses mostly herbs and nutraceuticals. I am wondering what natural substance would bring the bartonella out for the cumanda to kill.....or what other abx will bring it out???? Anyone know?? My digestive tract is so messed up (almost zero beneficial flora and I was taking Theralac and a few other probiotics while on abx and mepron... an broke out in fungus patches right when started that my doc at the time did not take serously). My dd is positive exposure to Bb... and food allergies, possible leaky gut, so we are working on that first as she is not clinical lyme disease. My husband sees an allopathic LLMD and is to start mycobutin and zith for bartonella. Also positive Bb bands... so I guess/hope this will address both.Regarding Schallers book: I already bought it and paid too much for it for it to be black and white and esp if there is a color version coming out! The book is mostly all pictures and I feel a little ripped off.. not that pictures are a bad thing at all, but there is little text and the pics are hard to see. I have time to send this back to amazon.. is a colored print version coming out?I am tying to focus on supporting my body nutritional (the whole family)and addressing possible candida and returning to foods that contain animal and other healthy fats... few to now sugars, grains unless soaked. I have to believe that the terrain is as important at least or more than killing the bugs.As for tests, I almost give up. I supposedly have the dreaded gene as per Shoemaker, but my docs past and present do not believe in CSM for some reason. I've been using chlorella, pinella, burbur, too many supplements to name, detox fiber every now and then and unless my digestive problems are from toxin pile up, I think I am clearing unless the biaxin did not kill of Bb.Sal>> Sal, i'm new to this world to due to all the inaccurate testing etc....but it looks like WE ALL GOT IT too. The company which makes Bio-K+ CL1285 claims that this probiotic product well survives the stomach acid, and 86% of people who takes it daily has fewer Clostridia infections.

http://www.retailing.org/new_site/documents/govaffairs/ERSP_Findings/bio-k_decision.doc

My son started taking a bottle daily, but we have not done any CSA to monitor. It contains 50 billion of live and active L. Acidophilus and L. Casei. It is however expensive - about $4.50 a bottle. My son is taking the GFCF version made from fermented soy.
