Guest guest
, This makes no sense. Your doctor answers contradict his own medical opinion that is stated on the form. This is really not an ADA issue, but is your doctor's issue. One thing, does your doctor work for the State? Or is he a private physican? Even then, I cannot understand why he said he HAD to answer yes to questions and then give his medical report that contradicts what he said. First thing on Monday, call and ask WHY. Meanwhile, get out your Credit Union and insurance info on the car payment and see if there is anything in that info on " disability " and cancellation or something like it. The ADA link is http://www.usdoj.gov/crt/ada/adahom1.htm You might want to also see HHS http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/index.html or the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy http://www.dol.gov/odep/index.htm Something doesn't sound 'right' about your doctors answers. Perhaps on Monday also you may want to talk to your Credit Union/Insurance on the car, just to hear what they say. ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
I thought that same thing. He explained it as " by law he cannot state I can never work again " because the ADA gives me the right to choose if I want to give working another attempt. I'm seriously considering giving the ADA administration a call on Monday. I hate to think I've paid insurance premiums all this time for nothing. ,
Guest guest
, That's crazy, my Dr. said I can't ever work again, the State Teachers Retirement sent someone out to see if I could and they said the same thing. (State Teachers Retirement is where I get my disability through). I see no reason why he can't say you won't work again. Ron
Guest guest
Hi , there is alot I don't understand. The information is contradicting his prior statements. I have a feeling I'm in for a fight with the insurance company. God forbid the company has to uphold the policy.LOL

Guest guest
I have an attorney that recently helped me with my SSDI. I'm thinking about placing a call today. Thanks.
