Yes, my surgery was covered by my family's insurance (policy through

Dad's employer) since I was just a kid. It was along time ago and I

don't know if it was a standard 80/20% coverage, or all or what.

All of my foot surgeries and joint replacements were paid for through

Medicare/Medicaid with the ones in the later years requiring a second opinion by

another orthopedic surgeon. I usually waited with most until I couldn't wait any

longer. Not always the best idea to

get the best results.
