Guest guest
Once a neurosurgeon Harvard pal of Dad's sat me down in our living room and told me this: " Gretchen, you are writing your own medical history book by living each day. Do not be frightened or angry. No one knows more about how CMT affects you than YOU! Always listen to your body and pay attention to your intuition " . Keedy lived in/around Miami and he and Dad grew up together, played sports, U Mass then Harvard, and after WW2 both men relocated wives and jobs to Miami. I will never forget the night Dr. Keedy talked to me that way. He was SO kind, I had a hard time believing he was a doctor after all the docs who were mean, poked and prodded as if I were a lab animal. Plus that he was wearing a very cool black polo shirt with white slacks, lol And I will never forget what he said. I think I was about 17 or years old at the time. ~ Gretchen
