Guest guest Posted December 29, 2008 Report Share Posted December 29, 2008 They agreed to reimburse us a portion of the premium - for example - the premium was $1200/month and HIPP reimbursed us $900. We also for a while took one child off private insurance and he just had medicaid but it is more cost effective for the whole family to have the HIPP reimbursement. I ultimately changed jobs to get better benefits and now there is no questions they are cost effective but it was a big schedule change for us.
