Guest guest
Hello All, My partner may be posted to UAE later this year and if so we go as a " package " deal - together. What I was wondering was if anyone has had adverse reactions to the suggested innoculations for the middle East - ie tetanus; poliomyelitis; hepatitis A. diphtheria; tuberculosis; hepatitis B; typhoid. I know that all of us have so many reactions to all sorts of things but I wondered if there any core reactions. I haven't had any innoculations that I can remmeber since I was a child and since the reactions I had then were severe (ataxia, muscle weakness etc) I'm really, really wary of taking any of these if I don't have to. To date I've taken my chances with things like tetanus and gotten away with it. Obviously I'll ask my GP (and neurologist if I can get an appointmeent anytime soon, preferably this year) but personal experience is always good to hear. Thanks for any help:-) Fiona in Glasgow, Scotland
