Guest guest
Last week I went to a doctor that did more for me in 5 minutes that all the doctors I have seen in 5 years. She is a Rehabilitation/physiatrist whose main goal is to make the quality of my life better. I have balance issues as I am also blessed with Meniere's disease. She watched me walk for about 30 seconds and pointed that if I walk with my right heel landing first -- my right leg is stronger -- my balance would improve. Was she right! I will be seeing her again in March after 4 weeks of water PT to further assess my needs. The operative word here is " needs " , not nerves, not neural velocities, not spinal stenosis -- just what will make my life easier. I guess my message here is find a doctor that is focused on your needs, and not just focused on your disease process. --Larry
