Guest guest
Hi , I'm not sure of type of CMT, since DNA (blood work) was inconclusive, but my neuro thinks most common CMT1A. Anyways I have had my feet and legs affected first and was on Neurotin and I was not in pain/tingling, when my hands started being affected about a year and a half ago, he gave me Lyrica and weened my off Neurotin and what a difference, my hands no longer have pin/needle feeling. Before Lyrica I could sit and rub hands all day and they still drove me nuts, I hope this helps. This has been my experience.
