Hi KC

Thanks for sharing your song with us. Your dad tells us you like to write

poetry. If you have anything else you'd want to share, I'd love to hear more.

Greg, thanks for answering my questions. You have raised some excellent

points. I know there are times I get so frustrated when I realize that

just doesn't have the same abilities as other kids and without

meaning to I hope I am not sending her negative messages, but I guess I

probably am. I will definitely look out for that in the future. Self-esteem

is so important for all kids and our kids seem to have a harder time of

maintaining theirs.

Once again thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences.

KC writes

Hello all, It's me KC again. Writing to send all you seomthing my father

likes. A song I wrote, I've had this conpect in my head for the longest

time, and finally wrote it less than a week ago. It's a song that

involves judgments, pride, and standing up for what you believe in. so

here it is.

Written By KC Morton

Why can you stand seeing things you can't confide

how can you see me when you dont see my thoughts

from creation to death contradictions become a bitch

seeing what you want to know and not weather you should know

can you see me, no

In the light

Judgments can be the face of your demise

killing the light you have

In the light

brave little soldier with a tear in his soul

with their mosiac eyes

In the light

Swallow your tears and take the pain

stand for your life

we're all freaks in some way

I am the voice that says

do what you need to do before you have to go

looking on my demise

I see dieing a man standing for he believed in

leaving this world knowing what I wanted

Go for it

In the light

Judgments can be the face of your demise

killing the light you have

In the light

brave little soldier with a tear in his soul

with their mosiac eyes

In the light

those mosaic eyes

In my light

burns the light away

Judgments can be the face of your demise

I've been wanting to write that, and have a good meaning to it. Some

lines you have to be a teen to understand, but all in all it's one of my

favorite ones.

Hi KC,

I loved your song. It really makes you stop and think. It really moved me.

I would love to see more of what you write.
