Heidi N's Neurotransmitter Thoughts

A while back when I was researching things, I came across some

interesting information. Neurotransmitters are from amino acids which

are from digestion. Uneven digestion causes uneven everything else.

Thus, I focused on digestion. I figured I would concentrate on

digestion, and if anything was still amiss, then work on whatever was

still amiss. After all, digestion seems to be a main problem. Later,

when I learned that children were being recovered from treating

pathogens and toxins, and they also disrupt digestion, I figured I

would concentrate on that too.

Thus, I decided to give all this a try and to only treat for

neurotransmitter issues depending upon how all else goes, and if there

was a horrible symptom that could not wait.

My family responded very well to digestive enzymes and turmeric and

lemon-flavored cod liver oil and the Mindlinx probiotic (only needed it

one month). They barely at all responded to any other probiotic we

tried. They need digestive enzymes at least twice a day. It took 2

weeks for the turmeric to work. I don't know how cod liver oil helps

with digestion, it just did. But, I also had to do organic foods, no

gluten, no casien. I think if my children were to not respond to this,

I would look into amino acid products. I wanted to do the most basic

thing to get the body to work correctly because I feel there are so

many things we can not test for or regulate between digestion and the

neurotransmitter levels. Thus, if we get the digestion correct, most

all the neurotransmitter levels should correct themselves. But, of

course, if not, and if one has symptoms they feel need more attention

while waiting for the body to heal enough to work correctly, then

treating for neurotransmitters direcly may be a thought.
